stice was born out of a pc and a guitar. the, then, 18 year old artist started stacking beats with grungy guitars. Not too much later, the first single of his EP ‘no gods’ saw the light of day. The EP, released on the artist’s 20th birthday, was loaded with cryptic lyrics, dark beats and electronics, distorted guitars and emotional vocals. Altough the reference to a god was central in the record, it was no advocacy or criticism. Listen closely and you’ll find out what it’s really all about…

the Ep caught some (worldwide) attention in the official Deezer playlists, Radio Willy’s Staalhard, music blogs and niche online radiostations. a year after its release STICE debuted live in TRIX. In the live-set: a lot of new 90s inspired songs. Before releasing his second ep he got selected for the belgian music parcours sound track, played his first headline (festival) shows and opened up for Disorientations and Hantrax. 

In the summer of 2024, STICE released his straightforward, 90s infused second EP ‘A fraud in the fabric’. on top of that the artist launched his own festival with a focus on dark and undergorund music: ONWEER.

On the festival STICE debuted with his liveband. On drums: Cas Kinnaer (ILA, Dull Boy Johny,…) and on synths/ableton: Maxime Quardon (known from mixing all the STICE songs). With this band in mind STICe is working on an enhanced sound, with the same dark feel.
